We wish to extend our great gratitude to the Base and community for everyone's heart felt sympathy and encouragement from all of the food, cards, letters, emails, and calls. We would  like to give a huge THANK YOU to  RBC for the toonie toss proceeds at the Victoria Salsa hockey game in February.

Another big Thank you to the Military Family Resource Centre for the dedication of the Out of school care room at the Youth Activity Centre in Donavan's name. The biggest Thank You for the room dedication is the marble  Inuit Art carving (seen on this page) donated by Commodore Roger Girouard and his wife. Thank You all so much for coming out to show some support.

Another big Thank you goes out to Donavan's school for the big flower pot overflowing with flowers. All the students in his class started calling it 'Donavan's Kindergarten Garden'.  They all got to help plant some bulbs in it back in Nov. 2004 and watched them grow and bloom. What a great idea, and Thank you to everyone involved. You all know who you are.

It is unfortunate that it usually takes a tragedy for a community to bond.  The great thing about  our community is that we are all bound together and stand solid.

There is great comfort in knowing that we have the support of the community, the encouragement from the Base, and the shoulders of our coworkers, friends, and family.
